ASL258 is an old ASL idiom meaning that it is very interesting.
My name is Mike and I have been interpreting as a certified interpreter since 1995. I started working with Deaf kids and adults in 1987 at Camp Tatiyee in Arizona. I took sign language classes at Northland Pioneer College for 3 semesters and then I served an ASL mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I returned and moved to Utah to work for Utah Valley State College (now UVU). I eventually moved into freelance interpreting in the community. I also ventured into running an interpreting agency. While I love interpreting, I do not love paperwork so my wife Jerusha came aboard to manage the business and keep us prosperous. I currently have the following certifications: RID CI, CT, NIC-Advanced, SC:L as well as specialty certificates in Medical Interpreting and Mediation.
